Meet Ruth
"Hi, I'm Ruth... a coach, a mum and a big believer that change feels easier when we feel good."

I’ve always loved being active. I used to run and go to the gym regularly in my twenties, but like many women, I spent a long time trying to do it all. In my early thirties, I became unwell with rheumatic fever, an autoimmune condition brought on by pushing too hard and not giving my body the rest it needed. I was trying to be everything to everyone without taking into consideration my own time and energy reserves.
Getting ill forced me to slow down and rebuild from scratch. It was during that time that I discovered how good strong feels - not just physically, but mentally. Once you realise how good it feels to feel strong, you don’t want to go back to how you felt before. This changed how I approached fitness and health.

Before coaching, I worked as a primary school teacher, and while I loved many parts of it, I knew I needed a change. Taking that leap was one of the bravest things I’ve done…stepping away from a safe career to build something that allowed me to keep helping people, but in a way that felt more aligned with who I am. Now, I feel like I have the best job in the world and work with incredible women helping them feel fitter, stronger and more in control of how they age.

Now, in my 40s, I understand the juggle… hormones shifting, energy levels dipping, and the never-ending list of things pulling for your attention. Most of us have spent years dieting, chasing thinness, or feeling like we’re constantly starting over.
My mission is to help you ditch that on-off mindset, build strength that supports your life, and focus on feeling good…because when you feel good, everything else becomes easier.
