Welcome to Ruth Mac Fit! These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between you (“the member”) and Ruth Mac Fit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) for participation in our online group coaching programs delivered through the Ruth Mac Fit website and Everfit app.By joining our program, you agree to these terms — please read them carefully.
1. Your Commitment
Consistency is key to progress. Commit to your journey by checking in regularly, following your workouts and nutrition guidance, and communicating openly with your coach.Let us know about your progress, challenges, and any health concerns. The more honest you are, the more effectively we can support you.
2. Our Commitment to You
We’re committed to providing a high-quality, supportive coaching experience designed to help you make sustainable progress.
We will: Provide clear, evidence-based guidance across fitness, nutrition, and mindset. Keep programs and resources up to date and suitable for a range of abilities. Respond to member check-ins and messages within the timeframes for your membership level. Treat all members with respect, empathy, and confidentiality. While we’ll give you the tools, structure, and support to reach your goals, your progress depends on your own consistency and communication.

3. Accounts & Access
You’ll create your account on the ruthmacfit website. Please use the same email address you use for the Everfit app to ensure your data syncs correctly. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You can manage your billing and subscription via the account portal, accessible through your account area on ruthmacfit.com. Please note: Use of a smart phone capable of running the Everfit app and internet access are essential for using Ruth Mac Fit products and services.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Your membership operates on a recurring subscription, billed either monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. When you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and is automatically prorated. If you choose to downgrade, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account area, and your access will continue until the end of your paid period. Receipts and invoices are automatically sent to you by Stripe, and any missed payments may result in your access being temporarily suspended until the payment issue is resolved.
5. Service Updates & Availability
We regularly update and improve our coaching programs and app experience. We may also change platforms in the future to improve service delivery. While we strive for continuous access, occasional downtime or maintenance may occur. We’re not responsible for interruptions, platform changes, or any issues caused by third-party providers, such as Everfit or Stripe.
6. Health & Safety
Our coaching and content are designed for general fitness and educational purposes only and do not replace medical advice. You are responsible for ensuring that you are fit to participate and for consulting a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise or nutrition plan, particularly if you have a medical condition or injury, or if you are pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding.Always listen to your body, exercise at your own pace, and stop immediately if you feel unwell or experience pain. We are not liable for any injury, illness, or other issues arising from your participation in our programs, except where required by law.
7. Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.This explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including data processed by trusted third parties.
8. Positive Environment & Conduct
We’re proud of our supportive, encouraging community. To maintain it, we expect all members to be kind, respectful, and positive.We reserve the right to remove anyone from the program — without refund — for inappropriate or harmful behaviour, including bullying, hate speech, or promoting external services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid during your most recent billing period. We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses — including any loss of income, data, or motivation — that may arise from your participation in our programs or from the use of our website, app, or other digital services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled exclusively in English courts.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.If significant changes occur, we’ll notify you by email. Continued use of our services after notice of changes means you accept the updated terms.
